Nicola Waisome-Crooks AAS, BS

Intern Nicola Waisome-Crooks earned her Associate’s degree in Social Science from Central Texas College in 2017, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology form Southern New Hampshire University in 2019. She is now completing her Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health counseling at Grand Canyon University, and is now a counselor in training. Nicola possesses more than fifteen years working in law enforcement, juvenile corrections, and mental health services combined, which made her competent to counsel a wide population which includes individuals, couples, groups, adolescents, adults of all ages and sexual orientation, and the military population. She is able to address a variety of counseling concerns such as anxiety, depression, traumas, grief, identity and self-esteem problems, and relationship and family issues.
